Our Privacy Policy, as listed below, plays an important role in demonstrating our commitment to protecting your privacy as a user of MOVO AB’s plug-in known as Openflow.io. This Privacy Policy sets forth MOVO AB’s policy with respect to personally identifiable information (Personal Data) and other information that is collected using Openflow.io.

Openflow.io is not in the business of selling your information to third parties. We pledge that Openflow.io will not access or store your webmail contacts database, your list of mails and the contents of your mails.

Information We Provide:
Openflow.io displays information within users’ webmail inbox relative to senders’ and recipients contact information and other relevant sender information including information about the companies associated with the respective senders and recipients. Furthermore, Openflow.io will possibly display shared connections within social networks, including, but not limited to the number of known common contacts, social handles, titles, company size, funding and other relevant information.

Openflow.io obtains data in three ways: (i) our technology locates and aggregates publicly-available information in a useful way; (ii) we license data from third parties; (iii) individuals contribute data including information about senders and related companies stored in their webmail accounts when using Openflow.io.

Information We Collect:
Information you provide by installing Openflow.io: when you install Openflow.io, you provide Openflow.io access to your webmail account and permission to access and use certain information contained therein relative to the email senders and recipients. Openflow.io’s technology extracts certain information from your emails. We use information collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy to improve the quality of Openflow.io and/or information provided to you and others through the use of Openflow.io. In exchange for allowing this access, you receive the right to use Openflow.io, including access to the Openflow.io Information.

Openflow.io collects the following types of information (including Personal Data) from your webmail emails:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Email headers
  • Email signatures

We will never disclose or identify any individual user as the source of the Openflow.io information, except as set forth in the section below titled “Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information.” Information received from you through your use of Openflow.io will be used by Openflow.io in accordance with this Privacy Policy as long as the Openflow.io extension remains installed. You can stop sharing information with Openflow.io at any time by uninstalling the Openflow.io extension. Information previously shared with Openflow.io will remain available through Openflow.io. You may request to have your Personal Data removed from MOVO AB at any time by contacting us at support@openflow.io.

Our Use of Your Personal Data and Other Information:
We use the Personal Data you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. MOVO AB and its subsidiaries and affiliates (Related Companies) may also use data collected from you including Personal Data and other personal non-identifiable information collected through Openflow.io to improve the content and functionality of Openflow.io. MOVO AB and its affiliates may use this information to contact you in the future to tell you about other services provided by us if we believe they may be of interest to you. If we do so, each marketing communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to “opt-out” of receiving future marketing communications. In addition, if at any time you wish not to receive any future marketing communications or you wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please contact us at support@openflow.io.

If MOVO AB intends to use any Personal Data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, we will let you know ahead of time so that you have the chance to opt-out, if you so choose.

Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information:
Although MOVO AB is not in the business of selling your Personal Information, there are certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:

Openflow.io Information: MOVO AB may make any information, (including, but not limited to Personal Data) that our users contribute through Openflow.io for inclusion in information, that we collect from public web sources or that we license from third parties, available to users of Openflow.io and to our strategic partners. MOVO AB will never identify you as the source of any particular Openflow.io information, except in connection with corporate transaction, Related Companies, Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties or Legal Requirements, as further described below.

Corporate Transactions: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets. Related Companies: We may also share your Personal Data with our Related Companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: MOVO AB, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases and processing payments. When we employ another entity to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.

Legal Requirements: MOVO AB may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of MOVO AB, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the MOVO AB or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
