Trefor provides much-needed support for important projects related to development, education, research, green business growth, health, culture, and entrepreneurship throughout the Triangle Region. The organisation uses its Value Fund to focus on one select mission each year, a mission that is determined by the organisation's Advisory Board.
Openflow provides Trefor with a robust platform that makes it easier for the Secretariat to oversee all of the fund’s many applications it receives on an ongoing basis. The organisation collects applications through a theme-call process, with OpenFlow allowing for restricted access to its application module and presenting data chronologically based on a date range. With Openflow, applications can now be routed electronically to Trefor’s Advisory Board, which handles each using a number of specified criteria. Each application melds seamlessly with Trefor’s unique brand, visuals, and website design.
